Who is responsible for your data?

What does this policy cover?

This policy describes how we use analytics and cookies on this website (www.dignisia.com) and in the Dignisia customer application (customer.dignisia.com). Data that our customers upload to the customer application is processed on their behalf and is governed by our agreements with them. How we handle newsletters and marketing is described in our terms of service.

Analytics in the customer application

If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics to understand how the application is used, for example which pages and features are used the most and whether people complete certain steps, so that we can keep improving it. Nothing is collected unless you accept.

We collect which pages you visit, which buttons and features you use, the steps you take in certain workflows, the customer account you are working in, whether you are a Dignisia employee or an external user, and a pseudonymous user ID. The user ID is a random identifier from your login, not your name or e-mail address. Google Analytics also collects technical information such as browser, device type and an approximate location based on your IP address. Google Analytics does not store IP addresses.

The lawful basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, and chapter 9, section 28 of the Swedish Electronic Communications Act for cookies). We store your choice and when you made it, so that we can respect it and show that consent was given. It is kept for as long as you have an account and is asked for again after 12 months or if this policy changes in a way that affects your choice.

You can change your choice at any time under Cookie settings in the user menu of the application. If you withdraw your consent, the analytics cookies are removed and no further data is collected.

Analytics on this website

If you accept cookies on this website, we use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used, for example which pages are visited, so that we can improve it. Nothing is collected unless you accept. The lawful basis is your consent. You can change your choice by deleting the cookies and site data for www.dignisia.com in your browser, after which you will be asked again.

Which cookies do we use?

Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID>. They distinguish visits and users from each other and are kept for up to 13 months in the customer application and up to 2 years on this website. Cookies needed for logging in to the customer application are strictly necessary and are always used.

Who receives the data?

Google Ireland Ltd processes analytics data on our behalf. Google may process the data in the USA. The transfer is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which Google LLC is certified under, and by the EU standard contractual clauses in our agreement with Google. We do not sell the data or use it for advertising.

How long do we keep the data?

Analytics data is kept in Google Analytics for 14 months and is then deleted automatically.

What are your rights?

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, and to request access to, correction of, deletion of or restriction of your personal data, as well as to object to the processing and to data portability. Contact us at info@dignisia.com to use your rights.

How can you complain?

If you have questions or complaints about how we process your personal data, contact us at info@dignisia.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, www.imy.se).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If a change affects what you have consented to, we will ask for your consent again.
